Diana Wallis re-elected as MEP for Yorkshire & the Humber

Now elected to the European Parliament for the third time, Diana Wallis declared on her re-election, " I thank our Liberal Democrat team for delivering this result. The voters know that a Liberal Democrat is pro-European, pro-democracy and pro-reform and that is the agenda I take back to to Brussels for the next 5 years."

"The electorate is angry with Westminster over the expenses saga & will expect the highest possible levels of transparency and openness in future. A Liberal Democrat vote is a vote for an open region of Yorkshire & the Humber in Europe; a region that is open, tolerant & diverse."
