The Think Tank, Open Europe has ranked Diana Wallis top MEP of the region. In the UK she has also been placed 4th overall & 10th out of all 784 MEPs in a survey published by the English Language Brussels newspaper European Voice. Diana says, "It is always encouraging to receive recognition of my work in the European Parliament. ... I would count myself as privileged to be able to get back to work and to continue to represent the region after the elections on Thursday. But of course that will be up to the voters." Diana has been ranked top Liberal Democrat MEP & just one point behind the joint leaders overall. In stark contrast the region's UKIP MEP has been ranked 72 out the total of 78 UK MEPs.
