Diana completes 2009 London Marathon for Endometriosis Research

Running to raise funds for research into Endometriosis, Diana Wallis MEP President of Haltemprice & Howden Liberal Democrats completed the 2009 London Marathon in well under five & a half hours. No newcomer to the 26 mile event, but an extremely busy Vice-President of the European Parliament, Diana managed to find the time to train for this great annual charity fund raiser.

As a sufferer from endometriosis herself Diana knows from her own personal experience how important it is to further the research on this debilitating condition. Although it affects around one woman in ten it is a little known disease; more information about it can be found at http//www.endometriosis.org.
