"Anti-social behaviour by bored teenagers will fall now that the second phase of Willerby's Haltemprice Skate Park is virtually finished," says H & H Lib Dem PPC David Nolan. "As Chair of the Haltemprice Skate Park Association I am delighted that local skaters and bikers can celebrate the opening of their local Skate Park. No longer will they have to travel to Hessle to enjoy practising their skills, they have their very own Park."

"Now that our youngsters have somewhere to show what they can do on their skateboards and bikes, they also have somewhere they can be together without looking for trouble to escape their boredom," says local Lib Dem Parish Councillor Fred Smith.

"From today Anlaby and Anlaby Common have a terrific facility right on the doorstep for our young lads especially, something we have waited too long for. But without doubt it has certainly been worth all the hard work the local Councillors have put into it," said Lib Dem East Riding Councillor Mary-Rose Hardy.
