Chris Huhne to speak to joint H & H and Hull North members

Chris is looking forward to his visit to Haltemprice & Howden

Despite tremendous calls upon his time Chris Huhne has accepted an invitation to talk to Haltemprice and Howden members in a joint event with Hull North Liberal Democrats.

"When I spoke to Chris at the Spring Conference he told me he was very keen to support the campaigning work of constituency party's in Yorkshire," said H & H Chair Alan Williams.

Only narrowly losing the leadership contest to Nick Clegg, Chris has since shown his full support for the new party leader. As Lib Dem Shadow Home Secretary he will be visiting the constituency of his Conservative opposite number. Chris is determined to play his part in raising the profile of all the hard working local Lib Dem constituency parties. "We have a long hard fight ahead of us," said Alan, "but we have the support of the most talented MPs in Parliament today."
