Parents have been promised by Labour they can have the school of their choice for their children. This is a promise which has not been kept for many Brough residents. There is a serious shortage of primary school places in the rapidly growing village. Jon Neal proposed a way forward in an interview with Vicky Johnson for Look North (Tuesday 27th of April).
"They need to extend this school. It is probably the only one out of three in the local area which maybe has the room. It is not an ideal situation but it is the situation we are in because of bad planning in the first place" said Jon.
