Lib Dem Cllrs Win & Katrin support 5th Cottingham Day

Win in Hallgate Listening to the Grand Organ
With the 5th Cottingham Day being on a Saturday, Lib Dem Cllr Katrin McClure was in Market Green to listen to any local grievances during her surgery. Once the hour (10.00 -11.00 am) was over Katrin visited Hallgate School's Fair to give her support. After buying presents for her grandchildren there and mingling with the happy crowds, Katrin toured the exhibitions and events as a refreshing change from staffing one of the stalls all day.
East Riding Cllr Win Knight, who is also a Cottingham Parish Councillor was closely involved with making sure this increasingly popular annual event ran smoothly. During the Day she was giving out programs as she toured Grandad's Park, Market Green, the Memorial Club, Hallgate and the Classic Car Display. The weather was perfect and the Day ended with a new event. a Round Cottingham Cycle Race.
