Denis Healy supports Diana Wallis in her Euro Campaign
Starting her re-election campaign in Hull North Diana Wallis thanked Denis Healy for his efforts in promoting the Liberal Democrat cause in the constituency. With the city of Hull now being run by a Liberal Democrat Council, which is winning plaudits for its performance since ousting the previous Labour administration, people can see what a positive difference the Liberal Democrats make.
Responding to Diana's election address at the launch of her Euro campaign Hull North's next Lib Dem MP Denis Healy said how proud he was to carry the Lib Dem banner for Hull. Pledging his full support for Diana's campaign
Denis said he could see the voters of Yorkshire & the Humber following Hull's lead and returning not just one but several Lib Dem MEPs to represent the region. He hoped that Stewart Arnold, the number two on the Lib Dem list, would oust a Labour MEP, just as Lib Dem councillors had consistently defeated Labour since 1997.
