Haltemprice & Howden members join in the fun with Hull at the Beverley & Holderness Garden Party

Great fun was had by everyone who attended the joint Beverley & Holderness & Hull Garden Party held last Saturday the 26th of July at the home of Cllr Carole Lynn & her husband Malcolm, Chair of Beverley & Holderness.
A mere £5.00 bought a delicious strawberries & cream tea as well as entrance to the event. In the lovingly tended garden there was plenty of space for croquet, and other garden party games.
While he officiated the raffle, Hull North PPC Denis Healy highlighted Labour's current difficulties and underscored the real possibility of the Liberal Democrats taking Hull North from Labour at the next election, which may come sooner rather than later.
