Nick enjoying a lesson at Thoresby Primary School
Heaping praise on Thoresby Primary School in Hull, for its teaching and learning, Nick Clegg said he would be delighted if his own children were pupils there. At the start of his visit on Thursday April 17th Nick was greeted by the Head Boy and the Head Girl who showed him around the school itself. From Cookery to IT, from French and Dance to Games, Nick said it was a great treat to see a slice of the school's daily life.
He was also shown how the children were preparing for the future with an eco-garden as one of the the school's next major projects. Thoresby also plays host to a community games area, which gives local youngsters a valuable place for football and basketball matches.
