David Nolan and Anita Kay fight to save Welton Post Office
"Kirk Ella Post Office is vital to our community. Many of our local people rely on the services it provides. We must fight to save it," say local Liberal Democrat campaigners, David Nolan, Tony McCobb and Fred Smith.
A Liberal Democrat leaflet campaign is in full swing covering four Post Offices threatened with closure, Kirk Ella, Welton, Foggathorpe and Skidby. The four Post Offices are among the 2,500 set to be closed by Labour.
Although local Tories are also campaigning to keep the Post Offices open, the last Tory Government closed 3,500.
The Liberal Democrats want to invest £2 billion to rebuild the Post Office network. Local residents are being invited to sign a petition to show how strongly they feel about keeping their local Post Office.
